my son in the bug

ssayre - 3-1-2016 at 09:52 AM

Got my son going yesterday. At 19, it's tough for him to make time for old dad.

cheezycheese - 3-1-2016 at 10:44 AM

That may change now... did he like it...?

abkayak - 3-1-2016 at 11:15 AM

:thumbup:....sadly if you show no interest they tend to come around quicker
Is he in pajamas?

He liked it, but I can't say he's hooked.

Nice field ! I could rage in a field like that.

skimtwashington - 3-1-2016 at 05:18 PM

If you can show up and do this sport in your pajamas..how tough is this sport......really?

WELDNGOD - 3-1-2016 at 06:11 PM

But would you want to eat it wearin just your PJs?

ssayre - 3-1-2016 at 06:18 PM

He did eat it. Flipped the buggy pretty good. I don't think he cared about his pjs.

PHREERIDER - 3-1-2016 at 07:05 PM

he let go as soon as he flipped. It was a low speed day but just got caught with the kite in the wrong position. I know his personality and I knew he wouldn't try to hang on for dear life. Still probably should have had him wear a helmet. Flipping the buggy was his favorite part.

Teenagers... go figure.
(My son flipped the buggy on is first time out too - he decided that the board was safer and never looked back.)

I wear skin tight black long johns made out of that stretchy material under my jeans when it's cold. Wearing those alone to the store might get some looks from the ladies.

abkayak - 4-1-2016 at 10:02 AM

its all about the looks from the ladies...even if your out of the game
i hit a storm fence at about 20 yesterday which dictated the obe...the chicks were impressed
one outright screamed...i played it off as business as usual

nate76 - 4-1-2016 at 10:20 AM

That's some good stuff right there ssayre. Just had my boy out kite sledding this morning. Good times.

I think you'd go faster in the buggy with these......

KiteBuggyLife - 6-1-2016 at 10:39 AM

I would have loved to buggy in my teens! I was strictly a static flyer then and had no idea there were other options. Take him to an event and in sure he'll be hooked.

I've wanted one of those nasa's for a while now. They look like great intro to buggy kites. My wife has yet to buggy but shows interest. Might have to pick one up for her!
