Traveling up western Florida in RV any good spots?

KiteBuggyLife - 6-1-2016 at 04:39 PM

My wife and I are traveling the country in our RV. Tomorrow we will be in Naples and than traveling north along the coast. Any good kiting spots? Would really like to buggy! It's been way too long!

After Florida we will be making our way toward Houston, tx. If you know any good spots along the route it would be welcomed and appreciated!

It's perhaps more than a little late, but Treasure Island was the spot to hit on your trip, near St Pete. Beyond that most of the gulf beaches have little tides, and thus little buggy opportunities. In Houston, seek out the barrier islands and national seashores, though there are some restrictions.

Don't forget Jekyll Island just above the Fla. state line above Jacksonville, Fla. One of the best beaches to buggy on the East coast. Give Angus a call.

We did go to Jekyll island on the way down. Unfortunately the wind gods weren't with us for our stay. The beach did look amazing!
