I saw this while cursing a PPG www and saw this trike advertised.
Light weight and simple. Shocks absorbed by the mounting structure.
Of course we would need to lower the CG, remove those bars to mount a seat and other stuff.
What do you think?:puzzled:

I'll keep my Apexx! It's a well honed knife of kite buggy machine. This is a toy. At Ivanpah speeds, I want every part of the design thoroughly
thought out and even complicated if that's what makes it become part of me at speed.

I think modifying a drift trike if you're looking to "simplify" might be the better option. The big conundrum of our sport is that we put a large
torsional/side load on the wheels and vehicle, unlike most traditional uses, which means we have different strains we're looking at. Then we
complicate it by the people going high speed like Bob (mentioned because he posted above this) where stability and fit are worth the money and peace
of mind. Then you get the freestyle side of the sport where we abuse the hell out of it with bailed/failed tricks, and so staying the cheapest
possible isn't feasible for the abuse we deal out. So yes we'd all love a dirt cheap budget option, unfortunately our sport is a large amount smaller
than PPG and we put weird loads onto the vehicle meaning we need to build/reinforce differently than most uses.

I agree whole heartedly with Bob! There are buggies, then there are BUGGIES! Made my own buggy years ago, with the help of the ever famous PPTW, it
was a world apart from my Eolo Rad buggy I paid $300 for when I first got into the sport. I now have a Rapide GT, it is a machine, and a buggy,
slicing through the wind as it speeds down the beach holding a line like a rail car, steady as an artist hand, smooth as silk on the hardback, again,
leap years advance from my homemade buggy which provided me so much enjoyment for many years. I'm sure if I desired, I could free style, do some
tricks, and you will catch me doing some nice power slides throat the soft stuff just to have some fun, but once you sit in a buggy like that, you
kinda just want to go faster every time.
I will always remember where I started, but I can only hope that my future in a buggy is a really fast and stable one!

while I embrace simplicity, and respect the straightforward design, by the time it includes carbon fiber structure, the fully custom apex "joint",
does it sell for any less than the full-blown (complete with scratch-n-sniff biofeedback) suspension buggy on the market?
