I was thinking on the weekend that there should be a GoPro add on GPS device to show current track data and speed on your video - did a search today
and came across this, looks interesting but i may need to upgrade my GPS to a different model

The Virb has it all built in. It has a seemingly endless list of gauges you can overlay on the video. I have a few a buddy of mine has taken of me at

I've always thought that would be great. This video came to mind as one I have seen. In the video description it says he was testing out gps view on
his sony action cam. I don't know if it was edited in, or if sony cam has a gps.

Yes some cameras have it built in, but iit looks like if you have a verb compatible GPS you can use the free software to lay it over your GoPro videoBeamerBob - 11-2-2016 at 02:45 PM
That's really nice - thanks Bobby, I think you have posted this before. I'd love to tie it into my GoPro video but definitely would need one of the
models of GPS that would support the data (list available on Garmin)Kober - 11-2-2016 at 03:55 PM
Watched Marks video but still trying to wrap my head around all this. How does a video segment and your GPS file know where they are in relation to
each other? If I put a few video clips together but not necessarily in order, wouldn't the GPS file no longer be in sync with your footage? I'm a
little conflustered.
