I have seen that before, but every time I see it I have to pick my jaw up off the floor. That was an insane launch of meat on ice!

That is my buggy now. I have the barrow downtube with a gash in the front where the blade bent back and contacted the front of the downtube. I've watched the vid dozens of times.

its the equivalent of hitting soft sand but that looks way way better!!!

bugymangp - 16-2-2016 at 12:24 PM

Talk about a OBE that's going to leave a mark LOL

Wow, that bug just stopped completely, like something out of a cartoon. Not sure if I'd have the confidence to ride on ice again after that. Funny video but damn that music.

And no big surprise you hopped in and looked like a pro. And on Ivanpah as well, with so little rolling resistance. You just can't hide kite skills.

Of course you are forever spoiled if you get in another buggy now. You fit in mine very well and it's ultra secure and comfortable. That isn't the norm at all.

I've seen that before and still caught myself watching several more times this time around.

@beamerbob, did any of the buggy components get bent or damaged? It took a hell of a shock on that sudden stop.

Kober - 16-2-2016 at 07:57 PM

The only damage I can see on the parts I got was the dent on the down tube. It's possible the fork was damaged and replaced.

It looks like everything was intact and not bent on the front end when they panned around. Can't tell for sure of course, but that's quite testament to how solid those buggies are.
