My Hornet 5m just came today and luckily the wind gods were on my side. That kite is my first step up from a 1.4. Im loving how hard that kite pulls.
It just made me love this whole dang thing even more! Any of you guys have the Hornet?

Well you've done it now, youve been bitten! The hornet is a great all around kite, nimble yet powerful, predictable, yet has decent performance! If
you are just flying static, wait till you sit in a buggy and really get it working.
Enjoy and fly safe!

Within their respective wind ranges, I find that the 2m, 3m, and 4m feel/handle is the same. The 5m may seem tame, but it can grab you off your feet
in a gust. (No, that doesn't mean that it's any good for jumping.)
Be careful... kites are able to reproduce without direct contact with each other (and they multiply in direct correlation to the amount of money that
slips out of your wallet).
Have fun. Be safe. Welcome to the addiction :wee:

I have the current model in 2m and 3m. Excellent kites.
The flight characteristics and manners remind me very much of my Ozone Flows. I was impressed enough I bought the 3m for our flukey, gusty
10-20mph winds. Kite excels.
I would very much like to get the 4m for the same reasons. But the price is kinda up there for it. Maybe some day.
Totally recommended to anyone needing a nice flying kite for gusty conditions. And yes; these kites will run 30mph and probably more!
Can't wait to buggy with them some more!

Have the 3m and won't ever let it go unless I find something better, which I doubt! You made a great choice; you will soon want a 2/3m for when the
winds pick up and the 5m is too much to hold down!
Hornets really have that nice increase in pull. Just an all year-round good kite, (really think everyone should have one in their quivers).
The 3m gives a good workout when the winds pickup; can't imagine what a 5m would be like :o Be cautious of those gusts as it could loft you any
moment! Always have your kite killers with you. If you ever feel that moment where you are about to be lifted, just let go and you'll be fine! Always
good to use them.
Have fun and fly safe!

Im a huge dude, 6'4" 300lbs. That was the main reason I went with the 5m, it actually can pull me in decent winds. Haha
