---SALE PENDING--- Flysurfer Speed 5 9m, (USED ONCE!)

domdino - 22-2-2016 at 09:18 AM

Just got this in over the weekend, amazing little kite! I used it once at Nahant beach on a landboard only.

This is a brand new kite and I got the first batch of them, decided i want to stick to my blow up toys for the smaller sizes as they fit my style better - my loss is your gain.

Deluxe edition material in beautiful blue color

Will let it go for $**** complete with bar and lines

This is an amazing all around kite, the 9m will cover you in most wind ranges for a lighter rider

hey domdino wht did u think about the speed 5, After flying it for a while I have to say I would prefer the speed 4 series. the new profile and higher aspect ratio of the 5 changed the kite in to a kite that's slightly more of an aggressive and edgy type. It flies more like a sonic but somehow the sonic is smoother to manage. I also was having some stalling issues with mines as it seemed to be very sensitive to back line tension.

It actually had some qualities from the very first speed it reminded me of - extremely powerful and great jumps. It is definitely more sensitive than the speed 4 which was a very friendly kite to fly, but in a good way. I think you can tweak the lines to make it more like the speed 4 if you want to

Yea the lotus was a slightly more user friendly kite and I would agree the 12m speed 5 is noticeably more powerfull than my speed 4 10m. Regardless those speed kites have some serious lift , especially when u have it close to the top of their windrange its downright scary. Hopefully i can tweek mines a little bit.
