Spent half the day setting up this display with the help of Evans and Levi along with Holli from the World Kite Museum. The display will be available
for sight seers until October of this year.
Steve, aka crazy herb, donated a couple items also. Many thanks to Evans in helping with the setup. See if you can find Levi doing what he does best.
If your in Longbeach WA. stop by and see what the museum has to show you about Kites.
now its time to hit the beach for some buggy time.

Is that Pink kite a Pansh ?
In a Museum ? :wow:
Why? :puzzled:
bigkid - 3-4-2016 at 01:01 PM
for the same reason the 2 PKD 1.5m busters are on the wall on the left. the top one is new and the bottom 1 is 5 minutes old and totally destroyed by
a "I know how to fly a 4-line kite" idiot who cut the bridles and blew out 3 cells with a 12 inch rip on the back side. Its about information of what
the beginning was like to the present day and everything in between. Pansh is part of the kite world, good or bad.
Besides Evans was told to display the kite without showing the name, its about the pink color. :D

Wind dog, It was nice to meet you at the beach after the museum. Sun, on shore light wind and warm beer, can't beat the day with new friends.
I emptied my 10m of 6.9 lbs of sand today. :o now I have a beach in the driveway.

The kite museum has some interesting displays upstairs such as the "war room". Which is where they have some kites that were used back in the war to
end all wars. These are made of canvas and steal, being over 10 feet tall. The wood kite box is with the kite. Sorry no pics of the war room, just
thought they were awesome enough to make mention and a little promotion for the kite museum. The kite museum is not something to travel across
country for unless you can appreciate The history of kites in different countries and over the years and years of time. Besides having a fantastic
beach to kite buggy and play on might as well make it a vacation of the century. That way you can be part of WSIKF, play on the longest drivable
beach, watch the sunset over the Pacific Ocean, eat fresh seafood, buggy or board till the cows come home.
