HAHAHAHAHA! GOOD LUCK!bigkid - 15-4-2016 at 09:21 PM
One of my biggest regrets was letting them go. I fell for the stupid belief that new is better and new is more powerful. Boy was I wrong.
I've been picking up pre 1990 power kites also.Bladerunner - 16-4-2016 at 09:38 AM
Contact Macboy,
I know he is thinning his quiver. He has my old 3m Brooza ( II? ) and 1 or 2 more.
Brooza was slightly unique. I liked the few small air inlets. Launching took a bit different style but they stayed nice and firm once filled. I loved
the graphics.
It was a real lifty little kite. That was why I traded it on. bigkid - 21-4-2016 at 06:38 PM
Still looking.Morrie Williams - 22-4-2016 at 06:54 AM
Thanks - But those are 2 line with spar in the leading edge? Not exactly what I had in mind but same designer right? I messaged him previously to see
if he had access to Skytigers any more but he said not. He didn't suggest an alternative unfortunately. Cerebite - 3-5-2016 at 09:55 AM

Yes they are, I picked up a bunch of them last fall and have been playing with them all winter. Once launched and flying they pull quite nicely,
particularly in stacks.
I had a couple of them up one night at IBX but did not have enough wind for traction which was the goal.bigkid - 3-5-2016 at 02:24 PM
Not for what I'm looking for - PKD KITES.macboy - 10-8-2017 at 01:36 PM
I had to post so I could see my signature - the kites have been buried so long I can hardly remember what's hiding away here....I know the PKDs are
still around here and I do think it's time to come to terms with my wishes vs my realities.....Unk - 11-8-2017 at 12:22 AM
Sorry Big Kid
It old PKD's I fly most of the time and I reckon they will have to bury me with the 3mtr Buster cause that's never going :Dabkayak - 11-8-2017 at 05:31 AM
just got an old 4m buster will have it at WW...

u check it out and if its what your looking forUnk - 21-8-2017 at 12:14 AM
Not looking good for the 3mtr Buster
It had a run in with a black labrador retriever
I had the owner who managed to get tangled in the lines and there dog running around with my kite in its jaws.
I now have 2 teeth holes on 2 panels at the leading edge and a 6" x 4" hole through 2 panels where a paw went straight through.
The owner was very apologetic and has offered to pay for getting it repaired but I'm not sure it would be worth it for a kite this age or if it will
fly the same after repair but I am loathed to loose this kite as it my go to kite that I know I can fly in pretty much any wind.
How have you all found that repaired kites fly?
bigkid - 21-8-2017 at 06:13 AM
Unk, it doesn't change the kite to much. I have flown many that were resurrected from the dead.
If the destroyer is willing to pay for the repair, do it. It's better than nothing. I have a 2m buster that was repaired twice, still a favorite.Unk - 21-8-2017 at 08:38 AM
They are willing to pay and I'm not wanting to loose this one.
Glad to hear they still fly fine so Ill go down this road.
Thanks BigkidUnk - 7-9-2017 at 10:27 PM
The Buster fly's again :D
It's been patched up and returned in a week, so i took it out last night and it fly's perfect.
Thanks for the advice on getting it repaired i would have been gutted loosing this kite.
