saw this on ebay - two buggies and a bunch of kites from Vista California
seller says he knows nothing of the sport: We buy entire or partial estates and these were in someone storage area.
The buggies look familiar with the logo on the back of the seat and then a Canadian flag logo on the splash guard - probably bought off a CDN at NABX
- some quadifoil comps in there, sky tiger etc
man this looks familiar - maybe one of the CA gang knows?

Any ideas on what kites are hiding in those bags? Interesting find.

Well that is a PL Race buggy. There aren't many of those still in existence, right? It could only belong to so many people.

There are some Quadrifoil competitions; XS, XM and purple one XL? At least one SkyTiger bag and can't make out the others - damn it all looks
familiar.

I think the buggys and kites belong to Mike Dooley who lived in Cal. but not lives is Texas. The buggy seat with the figure on it was made by Martin
Blaise. I was was at nabx when Martin had the custom buggy seat.

I saw Mike Dooley responded on F.b. saying it was definitely his stuff after he lost everything and moved to Texas - sad to hear these stories of our
friends. So it would have been in a storage unit.

Maybe we should buy it back for him assuming he'd like it back. Funds might not stretch to the complete inventory but perhaps the seller might split
to sell the bug. I'll chip in.

that was a nice offer Tom, not sure whether he is in a position to use the gear again but sure would be great if he could. I saw the seller added more
photos so there are the two buggies, 1 Quadrifoil Comp XS, 2 XMs, a couple of Sky Tigers, a 4.5 Ozone Little Devil and Ekko 1.7 (by Elliot) and a
spare earlier style seat from the comp buggy before the deeper XR seats. It also look like there was an offer pending on it from the Q&A section.

When I saw this lot on eBay I put in an offer which the seller rejected.
Seller and I made another offer/counter offer round but during that time I learned from the NABX facebook posts that the equipment was originally
Mike Dooley's.
I was no longer comfortable proceeding with a purchase before connecting with Mike so I attempted to reach him and with help from another member here
I was able to get in touch.
Mike and I had a conversation and I learned he is a true gentleman who is happy to hear that the equipment would be staying in the buggy community.
He indicated his health situation does not allow him to use any of the equipment so does not want any of it back.
I offered to compensate him if I re-sold any of the equipment and he declined.
After speaking to Mike I proceeded to acquire the equipment and I am hoping to pick it up this weekend.
Although he declined I intend to send Mike some $ when I get out of the red from my recent expenditures.
Any equipment from the lot that I decide not to keep will be put up for sale with the proceeds going to Mike.

Good on you Larry - I saw your post on the F.B. thread and also that there was a sale. I'm glad it has worked out the way it did, that you reached out
to Mike in the process and there is some great life left in that gear for you or someone else to enjoy
