Last kiteboarding trip to OBX was awesome , but we have few days with no wind when I was able to play a bit more with my drone and get awesome
footage for video below ..... Most WBB regulars will recognize Me and Terry and SoloWheels that we are using on this small adventure .....
Hope you like it .....
That was very cool. Good times! What drone did you use? I am fascinated by them and see that as a next future purchase.skimtwashington - 30-5-2016 at 01:51 AM
Wow...
.... to all the huge luxury homes and spacious property/ pools and tennis courts you're riding by...:o
Nice area.
Any drone film of kite surfing?Windstruck - 30-5-2016 at 05:27 AM
Nice. Looks like a peaceful time on those SoloWheels. Other than skill by the pilot, do drones have any inherent sensor tech to avoid running into
power lines?flyguy0101 - 30-5-2016 at 07:28 AM
Kober- that rocks I think I should have gone your route for the follow me technology- the diy has found its way to the bottom of a box and soon to be
up for sale and replaced. excellent footage thanks for sharing

You handle the solo wheel and drone far better than your buggy Conrad. :P
Nice work on the video. See you this fall. markite - 30-5-2016 at 10:32 AM
that was a fun video to watch - so it looks like your hand control you are changing the altitude etc around all the hydro wires etc - one tower near
the end looks close but also wide angle so you may have had a few more inches :-)Kober - 30-5-2016 at 11:29 AM
Thanks for all positive comments...... and nice one from BigKid .... lol .....
It was a challenge to ride solo wheel and pilot drone at same time . I have 3 slow practice runs before filming that video and mastering mini
remote for a drone for first time .... It reacts so much slower then with full size remote so sometimes I did stop riding to reposition drone in
order to avoid obstacles ..... Nope ... no crash avoiding sensors on this one .... well .... I would not use it anyhow since it works only when
drone is moving 5mph or slower .....
And yes ... I did some filming of kiteboarding in 20mph wind and was impressed that my drone survive it .... It was a challenge to fly it and
avoid kites , basically I learn that you need to go straight upwind first and then piloting is so much easier when you go with drone pointed straight
downwind .... I will make a clip of that in Near future right after Tug Hill and WBB video .... lol ...
Power lines looks close but as motioned above by markite wide angle lens may have give you that illusion .... Well .... I crash that drone next
day when flying around the house at full speed with full size remote ..... I start redirecting in opposite direction too late and before drone was
able to stop for that maneuver I trim tree a little bit .... lol .... broken landing gear and camera attachment ....
