Pansh Kites?

Hello everyone! I just found this forum and I must say it is a treasure trove of information for kite addicted Sky jockeys like myself. And it seems like a great online community to be a part of. I have been reading the threads for days now and have learned quite a lot. A big thanks to all of you kite veterans for all of your knowledge sharing to our sport!

I just came across this website www.panshkites.com. Do you guys own any of these birds or do you have any feedback or information on this brand?

welcome...we all buy Pansh at some point...just to see for our self's
people have different experiences...better off going w/ more of a sure thing imo

My first experience with Pansh kites was last week at SOBB. By the way, Thank you Kiteboyza for being so awesome as to let people fly his amazing collection of Pansh's. The one I ended up spending a fair bit of time on was a 2.0m Legend. This kite pulls like the little engine that could. Haha. But a few things I noticed. It darts a lot. If it's parked. It's constantly darting forward. And if you don't apply a little brake it will dart far enough forward to collapse. I'm sure with some tweaking you could probably fix this. It's definitely a fun and fully functioning kite. But when you compare it to other similar offerings. I was fortunate enough to fly this kite back to back with a 2.6m PL Viper. The Viper was clearly, hands down the superior kite. It didn't dart, it didn't collapse, you knew exactly what it was going to do. Another difference I noticed. Not good or bad just a noticeable difference was that the Legend could be flown almost exclusively by brake input the Viper didn't like it much. It preferred front line input, but very little was needed. My ultimate feeling is that while the Pansh's are cheap which makes them enticing. The old adage "you get what you pay for " comes to mind. With that said though, I think for someone that knows how to tweak and tune kite bridled. These could be a good value. I will say this. They are BEAUTIFUL kites!
That's my two cents. For what it's worth...no you can't get change back.....or a refund!

I had been resisting. I know it's my time. A pansh is eminent. Curiosity is killing me. Just one question. Adam or flux?

Thanks Guys to the feedback. I have decided to pull the trigger on the Panch Flux 5m RTF with lines, handles, and kite killers for $119.50 USD delivered with the 50% off sale it's a no brainer and an awesome deal! I am also considering the Pansh Adam 6.5 closed cell kite for $129 USD (kite only) delivered price! I have watched a few YouTube videos of owners flying them and it looks like it has great control and looks awesome in the sky with the white/red color scheme.

I will post some feedback and videos after I get these birds in the air. I am in San Francisco USA so we have some great wind here on the bay beaches.

Now I'm debating if to get the limited edition 3M 4 line kite they have comes out to 119 dollars.
Flexi foil has a deal where you buy a Rage kite and they give you a big buzz kite.
Not sure which is a better deal.

Those are cool. I was on their site looking for a 2m ace II and didn't see one but it does look like you can still get an all black 2m ace I. I think they would be fun as heck for static or maybe skateboard.

well I decided to get the limited editon Flux 3M for learning.

The Ace kites look cool with the design for the letters and Card Ace picture.

Wouldn't mind having a 4m Ace II. I just can't get past the 50/50 chance of bridle tuning. Of course that's a chance with any kite I guess but seems more so with Pansh.

The 2m Ace in strong winds is one of the scariest kites I have ever flown. Real strong bursts of power for real short spells. It would surge forward with gusts and was generally a handful.

I flew the 2m Ace one day and then my 10m Synergy. I felt WAaaaaaaay more safe under the arc.

Be aware that some tweeking of your fly lines may be required to dial in your Pansh kites. More often than not their actual kites aren't a problem. Like somebody else said, you get what you pay for.

You ARE aware that the Flux is a Fixed Bridle and Genisis is Depower? One you are best flying on handles. The other with a 5 line bar and harness.

Yeah you would. It's not called the widowmaker for nothing. Aces are the most dangerous kite on earth. The smaller the more dangerous,because a 2m can pick you up and fling you like you are Styrofoam . I own 2 and never fly them anymore and I won't sell them. You guys need to do a search on pansh aces!!!!

I actually got a 3 or 4m flux demo from pansh to take to WWBB . Several of us tried it ,and we all agreed that it was on par with a beamer all day long . So ,that wasn't a bad call. I am glad you did not get the ace. Those kites are evil....

Yeah I went with the Flux it has the same design as the other 2 kites with the only difference having the other 2 lines.
Didn't know the ace had a bad rep, but they do have a cool design. I knew the Flux was a fix bridle so I have that 5 meter kite that is also fix so might as well get the mini version to get familiar with it. Still haven't flown the 5 meter it's to hot today.

I got an Adam, had to dip my toes into the fixed bridle waters at some point. Fly's good, plus there's a nice little video on YouTube about converting them to depower without actually altering anything on the kite, just untie some knots and add some lines and pulleys.. Might have to try it out if there's plenty of snow this year. For what I paid for it with lines and handles I'm definitely happy with it. The caveat on my statement is that I've never flown a name brand fixed bridle to compare it to, so take it with a grain of salt.
