SOLD! - 17.5m OR Flite for cheap!

I have a first generation (2013) 17.5m Ocean Rodeo Flite I am looking to replace. I got it brand new and have only had it in the air four times so far (all over freshwater). Comes with an Ocean Rodeo Infinite Surf bar with 27m lines.

This is an excellent kite in excellent shape. It turns shockingly fast for a big kite making it easy to loop the lightest winds while flying far enough forwards to keep you upwind. The only reason I am selling mine is to get one of the newer models which are lighter and stay in the air a little longer in the really marginal conditions I am trying to make work.

Looking at get $550 + split shipping (CONUS). This should be a great deal for someone looking to get a few more days on the water without taking out another mortgage.

TLDR: OR Flite 17.5m (complete) for $550 + split shipping

Edit: I was asked some questions about the bar. The trim is a clamcleat below the bar so it has the potential for an enormous bar throw.

If only I had the cash, I'd snap this up in a minute. It's an amazing kite, I love my 14m Prodigy (precursor to Flite) and other OR stuff.

Ditto Volock. I was looking for a newer flite as well, but at this price and considering the expanse to my current LEI quiver it would be hard to pass up. Alas, just bought another board!

I'm in excellent company than. I bought a better begginer board/door earlier in the season, then a couple weeks later got put on crutches and won't be off them for a couple more months, and longer til I'm allowed to do anything fun (Stress fractured femur by my kneecap that spread... long story short too much running, I knew that #@%$#! was bad for me). It's a steal with that bar, I love my OR bar. The only thing I can say against it, is it doesn't depower to one front line (or convert super easily to do so) if using it with other kites that can't depower to both. And that's not an actual issue, just the one criticism I can come up for it - I may have forgotten my PL bar, and forgotten it depowered to both and hooked it to an arc... Thankfully I tested my safety after launch before I got to doing anything and in a situation where it was needed. Was odd having to retrieve a bar via safety leash with it hanging 20 feet over me.

If it's the "infinite surf" OR bar, change the swivel to one like Switch or Naish and you could easily have single front flagging...

That is the bar, but I recall OR saying their kites wouldn't work with a single line bar. No idea why though. I can't imagine their kites wouldn't flag out if you pulled one line.

One way to find out.

I more meant this to be the sole point of criticism I could come up with on their bar. I've been in love with it since first flight on it. That's a great idea, but the below covers the potential issue with it.

The rollover de-power system doesn't work right, and one of mine, the Razor, I've had issues with when on a single line bar flagging out. Relaunch can end up a mess on a single line bar for it, or I've had it do weird things while flagged out. The Prodigy had no real issue on the one line bar that I remember, but it's been a while.

I'm shocked this screaming deal hasn't sold yet. Were I not going to be out of kiting on water until next year from injury or had loads of cash laying around I'd have snapped this up, as it's beyond a steal for anyone on the heavier side looking for an amazing low wind kite, and bar.

Put it up in iKiteSurf recently and have some local people who have expressed interest, but it's currently still for sale. Grab it while you still can!

Sale pending.

Edit: SOLD!
