don`t forget
those of us who like to do night buggying.
bring some lights.
white headlights and rear red lights works.
we like people to use a rear red light so others
can tell if your coming or going.
plus glow sticks for the kites work well too.
nothing like buggying at night under the stars.gbrown - 1-3-2007 at 09:16 AM
I never thought about night buggying but I will be at the pre event and NABX and there is a full moon on the 2nd. For lights I assume that the LED
lights for bicycles is all you need. I used to sail on full moon nights and it was really great. I must ask though since we are on BLM land is there
any rules that prohibit this?deanaoxo - 1-3-2007 at 09:53 AM
The best night buggying is pre event for sure! We've found, even with no moon, you can see. The lights on our buggies are so we can be seen. A
strobe on the bottom is awesome, while red lights in back let you know the direction, and some tiny white light on front.
George, when you ask for more BLM management, you may get it.......

you can buggy at night until your wheels falls off.
yes. any type of bike lights work good.
i use a helmet type light that mounts to my helmet
like the miners use.jellis - 1-3-2007 at 10:12 AM
Dean is there a reason why you wear a strobe light on your bottom? Quote "A strobe on the bottom is awesome" It must be uncomfortable to walk around
with a butt lite.

Not if it is far enough up there, or so Jose tells me!
