OP I wish you the best luck selling your kit. I have plans to one day go to the Netherlands, as it looks like an awesome place to visit. If I might
ask, trading up or getting out of the sport for some reason?
All European sites have to post with a button/prominently if they use cookies in any way shape or form. See European Cookie Law Explanation for the details. Basically most sites use short term cookies for saving info (or tracking) and don't ever mention
it, but if the site is in the EU they have to. Google Analytics, a gold standard in website user info/traffic patterns, uses cookies, and most large
sites use that service.
Some examples (Use Incognito/Private Browsing mode, just to make sure they aren't reading your US cookies and skipping it) would be:
https://www.google.co.uk
http://www.indeed.co.uk/(A Job Site, with a US counterpart at .com)
http://www.autotrader.co.uk/ (Used Auto site/magazine, .com counterpart)
http://www.tesco.com/ (A UK Based Supermarket Chain)
Basically we don't have to disclose it in the US. Not all EU sites will show this to you if they either host outside the EU or check IP and only show
it for requests originating in Europe.
