I have a kite trike and love it but sooner or later it will completely rust out and I like the way it rides. I want to get another one built whenever
I can. Is there anyone who would undertake that project. I was thinking either stainless or steel with epoxy coating. The epoxy coating I could do my
self with some spray epoxy paint I found at an auto shop. Right now I just want the rails and axle done.
Is there a a way to drill out a 20 mm bolt and thread it to 12 mm

Looks like there is enough metal in a 20 mm bolt to drill and tap to 12mm. Have you been around any other buggies you could sit in and evaluate? The
kite trike is known as the least capable buggy available. You might save time, trouble and money if you could find a similar basic style buggy used.

if you are just making a copy of what you have, maybe try a local steel shop and see what it would cost for them to duplicate your parts.

So, I just went to the welding shop I visited before and he is closing shop. He already sold his welders. Anyone else in Virginia able to make a
stainless kite trike. Weldngod is not able to. I would be willing to travel a few hours awayif I could find someone. It would not be an exact copy. I
was planning on changing the fork possibly and use plates for both side rail attachment points. I think I will stay with the 12mm axle so I can use
smaller diameter tubing in the back to keep the weught down. Does but still do special orders and would he do stainless.
