Kite was bought used long ago so the history is unknown. In the middle at the trailing edge is one unused bridle tab. Wondering what this is for.
Can buggy with the kite with wind between 5 and 10mph. Seems to fly fine and I can't tell that any bridle is missing.
Anyone familiar with this kite? Any chance of getting a bridle plan for it?

I had the Jojo RS(Racing Star)... but the RS9000, I don't know and don't remember seeing listed- as their site used to list discontinued models-but
not now . Your kite's profile looks about the same...
That extra tab is a gathering hold point to tie on the 4 bridal line bunches (that you hook fly lines onto)- as it is right in the bottom edge and
middle... where such things commonly appear on other kites a (many use Velcro) ....for those that remove fly lines and want to keep bridals untangled
.
Do you know what size that is?
Do you like the kite?
My Jojo RS was lost to King Neptune one careless day...

I think it's a 9m? Check out this old price list. It's like a snapshot in time of what was once available: http://www.cwgsy.net/business%2Ftrick-of-the-eye-kites/power...

Okay... I get it now..
The '9000' designates size.
I had the Jojo RS 3500...a 3.5 meter kite.
That 9m is a big kite. Small wind range . more than 10 mph will likely pull your arms off....
These kites do not do well in janky winds... they power up fairly quick....and can bow tie... but sweet in steady winds.
So, how did you like flying it, or did you really not get a real trial?

The wind was averaging about 5mph and sometimes going up to 10mph.
I was making 20mph runs in it on our small field. I'm sure it would have gone faster in a larger area.
Real nice flying kite. I'm looking forward to flying it again.

I buggied with it for about 3 days with no strop just to get used to the kite. Then I put a strop on and have been flying it everyday since. This
kite is slow in light wind. The first time I ever buggied with it I could cruise at 20 mph. Now I can't seem to get over 15 mph.
I had it on 15m lines and it made it easy to fly; but hard to down loop it without a tip rubbing the grass. I put it on 17m lines and it seemed
better. So I had to try some 18m lines the same day to compare it. Didn't seem any worse.
I want to try it on 20m and possibly 25m lines. Then based off that; maybe 22 or 23 meter lines. Or possibly go back to the 17's or 18's.
I have had my 5.5m Reactor out during the same session and swapped back and forth. I can get a higher top speed out of the Reactor every time. The
5.5 feels like a 3m or 4m kite after flying that 9m.
I like the grunt and tow power the 9m has. Just wish it was faster. It doesn't overfly the edge of the window and doesn't luff.
