Flexifoil Rage 6.0

brockrock1000 - 24-7-2016 at 09:50 PM

I would like to get a Rage 6.0m to top off my Rage set. I did find one on ebay, but it was an EU offering, and it seems they don't ship to the US that I could make sense of. Any thoughts? Ideally new or like new - not the thoughts but the kite...

BIG and slow....

Yeah. That's what I have heard, but since I'm pretty much flying for the excersise at this point, l thought it would for a safe amount of resistance in 5-8 mph to make it worth going out. My 4.7 will gladly fly in that, but I don't even work up an honest sweat...:)

if you want a real workout in 5-8 get a 8-8.5 mid-high ar. hq toxic, flexi blade, and probably a bunch more.

I don't think a 6m would give much work out in 5-8.

No work out at that speed . 12 -15 would be about right.

OK, I guess that I will rethink it then, and look into some of the suggestions that you guys made. As always, greatly appreciated!!

I have to say...I do love flying my 6. It's not a race kite. It's a stable and solid buggy engine. I haven't had any issue with turning speeds. Not sure I'd say it's a workout a 5 -8 mph though, of course you'd be working the kite a bit to keep yourself moving . I'm not looking to sell it, but would certainly let you give a whirl if you're down at WWBB.

8.6m Peter Lynn Reactor 2 or 3 is killer in 5-8 mph wind... I had one and loved it.

The big blue one in this vid is the 8.6m and prob about the wind speed you're thinking:
