This thing is brilliant! Those of us on land can really appreciate the swivel and close in power to your core!

No more donkey dick pocking me !

Nice simple reset.

If you already own the Cabrinha harness It's....

.....$159 see it here

Otherwise you need to buy harness with it.

that's the upgrade kit. It's the spreader bar, pad, and fireball attachment and depow line.

spreader bar says it fits most brands of harnesses. it also looks like you could use the fireball kit on any bar that has similar throw/safety with some tinkering.

expected 10/2016 - look forward to hearing comments -but given that I usually have a bruise on my big gut at end of a day of land boarding this could be most excellent

I used to have this issue. The minimal spreader pad that came with my Mystic didn't exactly do the job I got a more substantial big old Dakine pad and it made all the difference.

I think this set up is superior and probably worth the investment?

The tough thing to replicate if you D.I.Y. would be the stopper that holds the ball in ?
Getting the ball in close to your body as compared to the extra length with CL and hook will be a real advantage for us short people! The change in pull point should also be an advantage on land with the kite up high.

I liked the peak a boo tattoo at 3:46. Added an element of mystery

This is a very cool innovation... always so much stuff that I want to spend money on %&*% it!!!

sand flea - 2-8-2016 at 08:03 AM

this is very cool
I'd sure like to see one to figure out how I could adapt it to fixed bridle.

IFlyKites - 2-8-2016 at 09:44 AM

Looks like an interesting design! Would definitely help with having the harness move around less when redirecting the kite.

Only beef I have about it is wouldn't the ball at the end eventually wear and break off? If you look at 4:02 you could see the attachment point. Seems like it would give at some point?

Very cool though!

Here's another video. I really like the idea. If I was riding more often it would be worth investigating imo and I think it would be great for buggy, snow kite, or landboard.

even more interesting now,
thanks as always for the help Sam

sure would like to see you at SOBB sometime

Bladerunner - 13-8-2016 at 12:57 PM

What I see as a draw back is that if I go this route I must replace ALL my chicken loops to ball or swap out my spreader?

here's a good non bias video that brings up some good points
