Bigfoot fork and downtube wanted

Wind_dog - 1-8-2016 at 08:59 PM

Anybody know where I can pick up a
PL Bigfoot fork and kinked downtube?
I want to try bigfoot lites on my flexi
and this seems like the easiest path.

Alternative is to make a set myself but
my time is precious.

Email me. I may have the front fork.

I have the fork, have to check and see if I got a kinked downtube. I have a straight one.

is it necessary to have a kinked downtube to run a BF setup?
and do all these PL parts work on the flexi??

@ ab- having the kinked downtube maintains the fork rake when you increase the tire size. As for the fit to flexi- the pl downtube is indentical in size to the flexi so yes it fits wonderfully, but the headsets are different which means to run the bigfoot fork you need the pl downtube. I have the pl set up for running bigfoots and have found that I prefer to "run downhill" by keeping the buggy all flexi and running a midi up front (flexi fork- bigfoot no fit) and then the bigfoots on rear. Works great at wildwood not sure how well it would work on softer sand.

flyguy.....so your setup does have the kink?

i guess not that would mean PL

Years ago I converted my Flexi to Bigfoot tires doing this. While the downtubes are similar enough in size to bolt up, the PL downtube is a slightly smaller size than the Flexi. The PL has a little wiggle room on the angle it bolts up to the siderails.

Bump.
Beach season is back on and upper sand is drying out.

Still wanted:
PL BF fork and kinked downtube.
No retailer has them available so it will
need to be second hand. Fine by me.

Meantime, I'm still riding downhill with BF lites in back
and a midi up front.
With some rides, downhill is faster :<;)

Cheezy
Thanks for the tip. I'll chase it down.

I have a bigfoot fork in stock, comes complete with axle bolt, wheel spacers, foot pegs and headstock bolt.
Doesn't look like I have a kinked downtube though. I do have an extended one that will work but changes the ride angle a little.

If you don't find one elsewhere, give Daelyn a call at 801-327-8686 or shoot her an e-mail and she can get you taken care of.
