Update: I'm looking for a chicken loop for purchase that is compatible with this PL zero7 bar. New or Used.
I'm new to PeterLynn zero 7 bar. (I think that's what it is called)
Can someone give me a run down of what the black plastic covered rope is for? And general setup?
I went to rig up my venom II today and was confused about what goes where. I was mainly annoyed I was missing the chicken loop.
What should I do about the missing chicken loop? A quick search online resulted not finding any available replacement parts for the zero 7 bar.

Lay the bar set up somewhere with contrast and take pics and send them to me. I will do what I can to help.

I will be studying this as I search for a chicken loop. http://www.peterlynnproducts.com/pdf/tscontrolbarman.pdf
Hopefully I can get one for WBB and you all can show me how to rip with this thing.

This is a very valuable resource.
The plastic covered rope is your safety leash. IIRC it attaches to the ring on one of the back lines. These are on the bar ends. The other end of
the leash attaches to your harness. I'm not sure how you get around not having the chicken loop.

We may have '07 loops. If not, you can replace the center line and loop with others.

WBB is rapidly approaching. I am still in need of a chicken loop for my zero 7 bar. It's a like new bar with new lines, so I would hate to discard
it for another bar.
I spoke with Rich and he said he has a spare that he will be bringing to WBB, but I'm interested in purchasing a chicken loop that will fit with this
bar.
I'm looking for recommendations for chicken loops that will be compatible with this Zero7 Bar.

Anything will work. In fact this is a good opportunity to make the functionality of that bar better.
You'll have to replace the center leader as well as the chickenloop. So the line that is tied to the trip system with the knot under the little
neoprene sock. Same length or even a little longer (for more depower throw) will do.
While you're at it, if this was my bar, I would convert it to a front line flag out and get rid of that dang cable leash. This would allow you to bar
spin freely. But would rely on using a chicken loop with a 5th line option. Which most modern loops have. Simply add a 4.5line to the front line
and you're there. Arcs flag out cleaner on front lines.
Check eBay and other sites, usually there is something inexpensive out there. If not, we sell the Ozone Megatron 2 and it would do the job. Would
have to confirm leader line length but I bet it's fine.
I may have a spare Slingshot loop that will do the job as well. I'll look around.
If making a big mod to your bar is a little out of your comfort zone, you know there's a loop waiting for you at your event.

Thanks Feyd,
I understand what you recommended but lack the experience to execute this modification on my own at this point.I'll get it figured out in due time a
need to familiarize myself better with these safety release systems. Getting rid of the dangle leash cable sounds great and a lot cleaner.
I will make sure that Rich is bring his spare and hopefully he will consider selling it to me at WBB.
