I am going to Dewey this Saturday weather permitting. Was looking at the map and the northern cape looks like hard pack. Has anyone ridden here. Also
looks shallow enough to kite board on either side. Thoughts?

Dewey is the best for kite surfing, down around state road area. Rian from ECKS goes there nearly every weekend.
Cape Henlopen isn't really a good spot for bugging, but there is an area for kite surfers to enter and go out, little rougher than Dewey, and a little
deeper as well. Not to mention a decent amount of boat traffic, including the ferry.

Several other Pkf, WBB crew go there as well, tibby, ragden, to name a couple. Although I'm not sure how much they frequent Dewey.
For bugging, the winds would have to be straight from the east, doesn't happen a lot. The beaches are very soft, but can be ridden at low tide. The
beaches are also sloped pretty steeply, again rideable though. Still a busy crowd at most of the beach sites as the water is and weather are still
warm. Could be a rough go, and may draw un wanted attention as well.
Kite surfing, is golden with no issues

Where is a good place to launch. Anywhere I can bring the family so they can play at the beach.
The most northern part looked more like hard pack. It would be a long walk but I am going to take some land gear Incase wind is sub 15 mph
