Yes, we're kinda spoiled around here when it comes to scenery. The mountains are about 7-10 miles from the base of the Homer Spit, which is where the
pics & video were taken. The Spit extends out into the bay about 5 miles, so from the end of the Spit it's a short 3.5 mile kayak (or Kite Cat
