Many if not most in the US aren't all that close to Mexico, but Cinco de Mayo is celebrated everywhere - probably even Alaska and Hawaii.......

Don't pass up celebrating 2 Thanksgivings just 'cause you aren't in Canada. I'll give you a day off work tomorrow.
We even have snow here in Alberta so it feels more like Christmas.
