There is the Folder all welded up. No cracks. I'm hesitant to ride it though as it might crack again. I like it; just wish it was more durable.
Kinda reluctant to sell it off.

If you don't trust the welds, doesn't it become folding lawn furniture by default?
Maybe a cat hammock. :eureka:

It's not that I don't trust the welds; it's more of where will it crack next. I think it must have flexed and work hardened the metal. It was trouble
free the first few years. Now it's at least once a month.
Granted I didn't used to ride as hard or as fast and I'm pretty sure I fly a size or two larger kite then I used to given the same winds.
Now if someone just cruised around with it or rode it on a smooth beach; it would probably never break on them. All welds were TIG'd by someone who
welds for a living and none of the weld repairs have ever failed. WELDNGOD - 26-10-2016 at 03:14 PM
It will most likely break wherever there is a stress riser. Or ,at the toe of a weld where the heat affected zone is. I really think it was meant for
bada$$ kiters. More for someone starting out, that had not gotten to the point they need a van or truck. I'd ride it!
