NEVER GET SKUNKED! Ozone Chrono 1 18m and R1 17m KO

Feyd - 18-11-2016 at 07:48 AM

Okay, ALMOST never. :D

If you really want to experience some of the best light wind performance available without going broke, here's your chance.

18m Chrono 1 KO. Was originally going to sell this kite after we got our R1 17m. However I decided to hang onto it as I wanted to be sure that the 17m R1 was a step forward in performance. Pound for pound they are very close but the R1 is more user friendly if you aren't experienced with launching closed cell foils. But I think the Chrono is better at holding air and it feels like in generates slightly more power. Maybe due to the extra meter? I dunno. What I do know is the Chrono is a machine and builds apparent wind that allows us to ride on snow in less than 3kts.

See for yourself....

Also selling off our 17m R1. Very similar kite to the Chrono but easier to launch and inflate due to the intake design. Amazing kite, a bit more refined than the Chrono. Like the Chrono or other kites of this type, it builds apparent wind like mad.
Either of these kites will double the number of sessions you get in a season. Especially if you have a season like we did last year.

If you ride water and have gotten into foil boarding. These kites are an awesome addition to a quiver.

Selling them as KO with the packs. Will work on any 4 line bar with front line safety. Attached pics are of the actual kites. The Red is the Chrono. Green the R1.

$1175 for the Chrono. $1350 for the R1. Shipped to the lower 48.

Did you own FS Sonic 18m also ???

Feyd - 18-11-2016 at 06:00 PM

We had the 18m and a 15m for a short while.

Are you going for the V2 Ultralights?

Feyd - 21-11-2016 at 08:11 AM

We are replacing the 18m demo with the UL version. So we we will have V2 CHRONO demos available in both the standard and UL option.

Okay kids. Bumping with a price drop on the Chrono 18m. $1000 SHIPPED to the lower 48. As posted, the kite is mint. This is short $ for this kind of lightwind performance.

:eekdrull: Those of you who are tired of the sidelines on low-wind days NEED this kite!

I am tempted

Feyd - 4-1-2017 at 03:46 PM

Give in to the temptation. Before i flea bay it. Or change my mind. The Chrono 18 UL is a heck of a nice kite but it still doesn't go quite up wind as well as an R1. ;-)

It would be a fiend on the buggy.

That R1 is definitely made for ultra efficiency and then some. Thanks for the Chrono, Chris.

Both pretty amazing kites in the right hands. Yeti has the right hands and I'm psyched the Chrono went to someone who will make good use of It. ;) Thanks for coming out to play!

Hi Chris,
I will have a chat with the boss and see what she says.
The 18 might help a little when there is less than a racoon's fart wind down here in Utah.
The 15 works but not really enough for traction until the wind builds.

Cheers
