One of my local spots is at the back of a school parking lot that leaves its lot lights on late into the evening. I went out well after sunset Friday
and it was virtually like day light. With work, kids, etc... it is really hard to get out during the day-- so now that I know I can comfortably get
out after dark I should get out a lot more. I would only suggest night sessions on well known spots, but this may double or triple my time out this
winter. I didn't feel the need for glow sticks on kite and kind of like not attracting the extra attention. Curious if others are getting out at

We used to do a midnight fly on West Super Mare beach every New Year's Eve. It was great fun blasting up a 3 mile beach after a few drinks and trying
to dodge the posts on the beach. gemini6kl - 19-12-2016 at 07:40 PM

Rick, do you have a picture of what you used?Wind_dog - 20-12-2016 at 07:48 PM
I got to watch the show from camp.
Quite cool!
Some used lights like the
Super Frog LED (google it)
but any cheap LED light from the
Party Store or Dollar tree would work.
One on each corner of the kite looked best.
A little light on the buggy is not a bad idea either.
I won't miss the chance to try it myself next year. gemini6kl - 21-12-2016 at 03:56 PM

Got out again tonight after dark. Not quite as bright tonight but still could see just fine. I am going to grab some glow sticks and mini LED's this
weekend. adambweird - 21-12-2016 at 07:13 PM
