Time for A New Buggy

apextech - 16-1-2017 at 03:04 PM

Buggy - started life as a Flexifoil, has been pimped to a serious beach machine I'm including a link to the thread here on this forum on it.

2 sets of wheels/tires/bearings.

1 set of 3 Nanco midis (like new) on standard rims
1 set of 3 Nanco BF lites in great shape also on std. rims

Peter Lynn BF front end
Peter Lynn Extended, Kinked Downtube
Peter Lynn Seat (lower CG)
PL side rail pads
Foot peg grips (really handlebar grips), they work
Flexfoil splash sheild
Custom PVC back rest
Custom wide, extendable rear axle 95cm to 135cm and back again for transport

All of this is for sale together (I'm not looking to part out), I'm located in the Monterey, Ca. area and would of course prefer local pick up, but if you just had to have it, I'm sure we could figure out how to get it shipped out to you.

I'm including the link for the buggy. No disappointments here, really set up for beach buggying, but would probably make a great dry lake bug too.

I'm going to price the package at $1000 F.O.B Monterey, California. If you want to contact me , just U2U me here. Currently I'm not looking for any trades, and this all will be available until its not (while posted). If you really truly interested please reply with your phone number, open to answer any questions you might have.

Great setup for beginner or seasoned buggy pilots as well. Thanks for looking.

So how about the same price but now including shipping to the CONUS. It'll cost a bit to do but might be the one obstacle standing in the way of someone getting to ride this beauty.

About time for a bump on this, make a reasonable offer but lowball offers I'll just ignore, a great buggy, lots of thought and care has gone into it (not to mention money :-)

I made a buggy mostly like this. It was fun to change it up. Adding the Bigfoot kites made a huge difference on soft sand and it was still convertible to ride on Ivanpah with the midis. Best of luck.

Bob, Thanks for the feedback.

I've asked for a best offer to see what it might bring, I cant compare it, because it is different and comes with loads of extras, I guess I just put the lowball remark to attempt to ward off the trolls that always seem to pop up like "whack a mole". I've been holding off on selling the kites because I would like to see the bug find a home first, bottom line is I want to be fair but its not a fire sale either. Thanks again

Bob,

I am interested in buying the entire set. What is a fair price as far as you concern? I would love to have you build one for me that is all new. How much will it cost?

I built mine for personal use when these buggies were still manufactured. I sold it 5 years ago. Decide what it would be worth to you and make an offer. This buggy has some custom features you can't find anywhere. I had over $1000 in my buggy since I bought all the parts new. Like I said, you couldn't buy one New at any price since mine was the last Flexi stainless buggy shipped to the US. That was in 2008.
