Thought I would show an example of a simple cheap set up for those that fly FB with a strop hooked in who might like a safety release option. The
particular harness used was originally set up like this (Paraski Flex harness), but you could retrofit or add piece/material onto hook to then be
able to put on a panic snap .
Panic snaps are cheap and go for about $5-10 . Ones on a swivel work best.
Notice in this short video what Don's strop line is hooked into(panic snap!) If your not familiar with panic snaps, they have a center sleeve you grab
and pull back to release.
BTW... This particular harness has a thick line that goes across from hip to hip that allows pull of kite to move from side to side as you change
angle of your body to kite and that the panic snap rides along, allowing easier angulation of your body to kite.
