New post in Land Access forum

Greetings, Buggy Family!

There is a proposed legistlation coming up in the California Assembly, Assembly Joint Resolution 21, about which I've posted in the Land Access issues forum here.

Please go read this post!!!

This is monumentally important, and could represent the first "formal" communication from our new "Association", "Club", or whatever we choose to call it, supporting the initiative to repeal the FLREA (Federal Land Recreation Enhancement Act), otherwise known as the "RAT" tax (Recreation Access Tax).

California is proposing to join several other states in calling for the repeal of unfair taxation without representation in the form of fees attached to usage of open desert public lands like El Mirage, Ivanpah, and other buggy and landboard playas across the great Mojave desert and elsewhere.

NOW IS THE TIME, FOLKS!!! A letter, a phone call, a fax, or an email are all that are required to express support for this repeal of a very unfair law, and I've even provided ALL OF THE CONTACT INFORMATION YOU NEED IN MY POST.

Please take just a few minutes away from your regular evening pursuits to write, make a call, fax, or email your representatives with a brief message calling for support of this measure!

Finally, the State with the most beautiful places to buggy and landboard in the nation is taking action to preserve and protect unlimited access for the public to these National birthrights we all are entitled to enjoy without excessive fees, development initiatives, or closures due to profit-motive "privatization" efforts of our so-called "land management" agencies!

Woo hoo! Let's all come out the "other side" of this effort feeling like we had something to do with preserving our playgrounds for our kids, our kids' kids, and many generations to come!

Joyfully...

Deano... there's a new section in here for Land Access Issues, and that's where my post with all the information is.

Go back to main Power Kite Forum and look for "Legal and Land Access Issues" section of this forum.
