Paul Glasspoole - 2nd Video from IBX 2017 - Friday on home-built land sailer!

jeepersjoey - 30-4-2017 at 07:07 PM

The "filming" took place during the week of IBX.

Everyone (including myself) laughed at my little zooter land sailer so I thought it best to simply build my own.

A local guy (Rick Hypes - www.windisfun.com) designed and helped me build it. Rick and his entire group were the southernmost camp during IBX.

I hope you enjoy the video. One more to go and then I am done!

Par exellance! I loved the footage of the repair work. Brought back fond memories. Can't wait to be on the playa again with you guys!

Paul I love how you are constantly building and innovating. Great job!

Thanks for the help chasing down my kite. :Ange09:

That's the only time I have had it ripped out of my hands. :o

That's because you're such a stud. Man, balls like bull to kite skate like you do on the playa.

I agree...I saw him moving. Impressive to say the least!

You party with us next year!!

I told Ken that I get a kite ripped out of my hands a few times each year. You saw it in my first video. You will see it in my next video when I drop the kite to stop a few feet from the barbed wire fence that was coming up at over (slightly over!) 50 mph.

Yippie!!
