Yes, it is the new Charger, stats are mostly the same as the CH2.
The biggest change is in the fabric which is lighter and smoother overall (don't yet know the exact weights per sq M)
And newer compact sticks / better endcaps.
Don't know much more than this yet, sorry.

Yup, that's the new design, it comes in lime too. (only the two colours)
Have not had as much time on the pre-production models as I would have wanted, broken bones and such preventing me.
I can say it flies exactly like the Ch2, the fabric is lighter and more airtight but that's something you'll only notice flying the CH2 and Ch3 back
to back for days.
We've/I've put it online today on both peterlynnkiteboarding.com and peterlynn.com, unfortunately we didn't have the chance yet to do a proper video

Since the fabric (and I assume the kite) is lighter, does it translate into better light wind performance? Would an 18 or 22 be usable as a summer
kite along these lines (I think 7-13 knots):

Think in terms of LEI performance. Arcs are not known for their light wind performance but shaving weight on any kite is a benefit IMO. Especially
if flying in punchy winds or winds with dead spots. The lighter fabric will allow slower sink rate in the air and better coasting through lulls. I
can only imagine that light wind performance will be improved but in regards to the say the 18m and up, the bar pressure can take a toll after a while
in light winds. I still think it is more of a kite for a Clydesdale sized rider than a true "light wind" kite. jeffnyc - 10-10-2017 at 12:03 PM

Nail on the head Chris, big kites for big riders (or boatlike things like the kite tender) not so much low winds, Arc's have never been low wind
kites.
Our local Arc guru Rudolf has been testing the new fabric for the last three years almost and so far it seems there's no trade off in durability.

I find that arcs need a certian amount of wind to create enough internal pressure to keep firm.
Once it is filled and firm I can keep running in some amazing low wind with my 18m Pantom I . I swear I have kept moving in total lulls just on
apparent wind and pump action a few times? On fast snow / ice. Even through some turns when I keep good tension on the lines. Lose tension and I am
screwed.
I agree that the light material won't help with lowering the bottom end but have a feeling it will be a benefit when trying to squeeze out apparent
wind?
