Looking at getting a machine to make a buggy seat, side rail covers, and splash guard.

Before I click buy on this machine, any reason to not get it?

Or maybe this machine?

Or another machine, preferably under $500. Looking to buy a new machine.

Looks like the 2nd machine is straight stitch only; no zig-zag.

The 9" bed of the first machine appears to be a plus for bulky things like buggy seats. Free-arm sewing (ability to sew tubular objects) could be a plus as well depending on projects.

Looks like fun!
