Does any one have any experience with libre magix? It looks very interesting without a traditional fork design, but I can't help but think that the fork connection to the "hinge" looks like a weak point. I understand that this same design is used on Libre land yacht and i see a few good reviews on that but would like to see if anyone has first hand experience.
Got my sights on one that is in the UK so if the fellow selling it can figure out how to ship for a reasonable cost it has me very tempted.

Thank you Jeff. Attached is a link to a picture of the actual buggy as well as the fork connection which has me a little worried because it does not look very traditional.

Not sure what the picture is showing.
The biggest issue is the buggy size. Short of trying it out I would not buy it. The last one I sold was a size medium and the guy who couldn't live without it was 5-10. He was to small and to short for the medium buggy. He should have got the small size, then he could have reached the peddles as he turned. And most of all the buggy wasn't tuneable because it was to big for him.
If the bug was only 100 bucks to your door and it is the wrong size it's a buggy you will not be able to enjoy or use safety.

Maybe I should make sure I come this year to WBB so i get a chance to look at a few different buggies before I think about anything else. In the mean time the flexi should be plenty.

Hard to tell from the alienbuggy picture but it looks like little more than a couple of short welds holding the U-fork to the tube that articulates in the yoke for steering. I'd put my money on those welds being the Achilles Heel in this design.

Also, why would you want what is effectively a zero degree rake to the fork? It would seem to magnify the force of the foot pegs over a more traditionally raked front fork. I often find I want to adjust my feet a little bit (particularly on long Ivanpah runs) and even on my PL BigFoot my front wheel gets squirrelly shifting around. I'd think this would be worse.

Maybe I'm not thinking about it right since the short tube in the yoke has a rake of sorts so maybe that does the same thing. My hand is in the air as somebody with no actual buggy design experience! :o

This Magix looks to have a very different front end. Can't find any reference to it besides here? I wonder how well it steers?

...and I am confused about the steering.

The orientation of the fork to the rotation of the headset(and it's angle) looks to be awkward .

The rotation when turning looks like it will be different than
a traditional fork/headtube set up. I'm imagining a 'deflection' of the downtube at the junction to drop a bit downward as you turn either left or right...:puzzled:

Not sure...what exactly I'm seeing though:puzzled:

Was travelling yesterday all day and I still don't know how to post pictures from my phone. I can not find a better picture of the entire fork but was able to find two pictures that I think show a broken one of these connections so I guess the original concern was accurate.
