I was noticing the difference in the amount of curve the PL, HQ, Ozone, and Pansh Handles have. Is it purely personal preference or is there some
science behind the chosen amount of bend?
Im making my own handles now and havent decided on a set amount of bend yet. rtz - 29-10-2017 at 02:57 PM

Seems like a lot of work. In the past I could get nice and smooth handlebar grips about 8-9" long from a bike shop. I think they were meant for road
bikes (unlike short ones and shaped for MT bikes which are not suitable). The last time I couldn't find them, so I used pipe insulation with right ID
to fit snugly over OD of the handle - 4 grips out of 3' length. Dirt cheep but much less durable foam but light and easily replaceable when worn out.
They have a lengthwise cut that needs to be glued together with Aquaseal. Now if replacing them, it is better to do it from the bottom not having to
undo the power/strop knots. Use soapy water if needed. Cuts have to be made for power/strop and secured with tape.indigo_wolf - 31-10-2017 at 07:57 PM
Currently have a surplus of control handles, but if suddenly overcome with a rabid need to DIY, I would be be hotfooting it to the nearest angler
supply store to see how they were stocked for Hypalon grips.
It you reall want to get fancy.....
