I need a few of these

I would appreciate a source link. The steel flattened chain link is the heart of my NASA rig. I found the beads okay from fisheries supply but I don't know what to call the connecting link and I'm needing three of these guys.
If someone knows the source or what to search for?

Yes - that's an easy one. Go to a nearby hardware store and buy chain of whatever length you need. Then you need to cut every other link in the chain with bolt cutters.

Thanks Randy, the radius on the turns is out of proportion to the length of the straight sides. I need a tighter radius. When is seats inside the bead it locks, if it's too wide the line won't lock the depower line. This is a fitting used often in the kite world, do you know it's name on google?

I could buy and cut away the intended bits, however there must be a better (cheaper) way.

I alter chain links all the time to suit my needs.

Place a bit of soft wood through the link shaping it to fill the opening as much as possible.
Using soft jaws (2 bits of aluminium to protect the outside of the link from indentations from the vice jaws knurling) Squash it down to the width what want. Break the timber away and repeat. Your links look quite light gauge and will reshape easily in a vice.

I often need to fit chain through a particular sized hole and don't worry about the timber when crushing (if not reducing it much) the link, if it's left as a continual chain.

Thanks for the offer, it's a shame to cut up two perfectly good fittings. You have the best junk box ever. I really have a problem destroying viable things that may come to good use as they are. Again thanks.

Ed - regarding lack of tools - the hardware store should have a bolt cutter which they will use to cut the lengths of chain for you. (Of course, if it is like the hardware store I go to - they may not work very well.) :) Also, they should have a range of sizes to choose from. It's cheap too couple bucks a foot, will net you about 6 links depending on the size chain.
