I am working on a rear hitch style mounted carrier rack for my vehicle and possibly fit my two buggies. It will have two bars coming out to support
the buggy axle. I'm looking to space the bars width to fit other buggies if that ever comes up in the future.
I am looking for two different dimensions off of everyone's buggies. Both dimensions are at the rear axle.
1. Distance between the outsides of the siderails/axle mounting points.
2. Distance between rear tires (at narrowest point of rubber).
I realize the second number changes with axle and tire swaps.
Dimensions from below in this thread.
Flexifoil Navarro.. (1) 24.25"....(2) 39.25"
Libre hardcore......(1) 39".........(2) 58"

This is a great idea if you have a wagon and need to open the tailgate.

Thank you both for the replies.
I will move the dimensions up to my primary post and organize them by brand alphabetically.
Chook, thanks for the posts showing your rack.

Cheers
My buggy leans to the rear, so I can still access my fridge and gear inside the canopy.
You don't need to have the axle supports out too wide, as it just makes it harder to lift the buggy into I've found. The vertical support positions
the axle. My axle isn't clamped, it just rests in the saddles. One bolt to remove (that has been changed from the photos. Longer bolt that the end
threads have been removed from end 3/4" of the bolt ,to reduce the diameter and this shank is cross drilled to take a padlock if needed) and buggy
has never moved on a lot of terrible outback tracks all across Australia over many years.
This helped in a sharp drop off into a creek crossing, as the buggy just slid up through the clamp as both the buggy wheels contacted the ground
suddenly. Better than damaging the buggy.
