New Product. Expect it is each enough to retrofit to older systems.

Looks good. I have a Best bar that has probably a similar mechanism, but it's way at the top underneath the release, so you have to kind of feel your way through and pull test until it's clicked in correctly. This looks like one of those "why haven't they done this from the beginning" ideas.
Wonder how well it deals with sand, and how well it holds up over time.

Was talking to someone at kiteboarding.com the other day and out of curiosity asked about the click-in loop. It is being sold as a retro fit, price is approx $180. Seems a tad steep, but does look like a good system.

That probably amounts to $80.00 for the click-in loop $100.00 for product Liability insurance. Looks like a good step forward, but not
THAT good. Their current release works fine.

Wow, $180 for a retrofit?!?!?? That is almost half the cost of a new bar. Think I'll stick with my chicken loop.

Yeah - I thought the same thing. I'm sure Ozone would much rather just sell a whole new bar. If it takes off, I assume the other companies will come up with their own version and put some pricing pressure on Ozone, but right now, they're the only game in town, they can charge what they want and make back some R+D costs. Llike being the first kid on the block with an iPhone. Until prices settles, I'm happy with what I have :)

Er, this is another occasion Ozone has reinvented the wheel and claiming it's a first. This sort of thing has been around for ages.
