Flysurfer Peak 2 9m CE - SOLD!

IFlyKites - 2-6-2018 at 06:01 PM

Selling a Flysurfer Peak 2 9m CE (Complete with lines/bar). This kite has only been used 5 times! :o I am the second owner (with the first owner using it only 3 times). It really is a shame to be selling it. Hands down, this is my favorite depower!

I do not go out flying as often as I used to. Would much rather see someone get more use out of it!

The kite does seem to have a repaired bridle line on one of the bridles on the trailing edge (From previous owner). Otherwise, the kite is in like-new condition! I am throwing in a Peter Lynn leash for free.

I am asking $̶6̶0̶0̶ ̶U̶S̶D̶ $̶5̶5̶0̶ ̶U̶S̶D̶ $500 USD with free shipping to Canada/USA! More than half of what a new one costs!

Just got to agree with U on the love for the P2 9m. This might be the unsung hero of the Peak series, I too enjoyed mine more than any other kite I flew (not that I've flown so many). It keeps flying in winds that has most everybody else struggling, it has a seriously great range from almost no wind to pretty strong winds. If you trim down and sheet out it will dump a lot of wind, and it flies - even if it doesn't pull a lot - in a gnats fart. It's more easy flying than the 12m, and more capable than the 6m.

I truly loved mine until I had the misfortune to crash it in some trees, and the repairs proved too expensive. If it had not been for cost of shipping and fees plus VAT, I'd jump on this offer myself. I have seen a German shop selling it for 900 euros new over at this side of the pond, and while that is supremely tempting, I cannot afford it atm.

Someone grab this great kite, you are not gonna regret it! Oh, and - remember to keep the mixer in trim.

Just looked at the pic's. You could mention that it's the special edition colors on this one.
Single skin to stand out from the crowd, and special colors to stand out even amongst the single skinners. I have one coming and I'm still drooling a little.

Never fails. Someone want to sell a 9.0 while someone else is looking for a 6.0....

First of thanks to IFlyKites. He got this kite to my house very quickly.

The kite was as described. The larger knot in the bridaling was where one of the brake bridal had been broken and re-tied shorter. I did not try to fly the kite this way. I re-created a new brake bridal line by acquiring some similar diameter line. I looped my line and tied brummel splice loops at the proper length as the other sides bridal. I carefully labeled all of the adjacent bridal connections and took pictures as I took the brake bridal apart as necessary. I re-assembled the kite and managed to get everything back together again.

I have had two separate weekends that I have been able to fly the kite. The kite flies as I would expect it to. The 9M peak is a quicker turning kite in comparison to the 12M. I like it a lot.

I look forward to putting some more hard hours on it during this coming fall SOBB.
