;I have never been up north in Fall, what are typical weather conditions at the event as far as temp goes? Just need to know how much and what kind of
clothing to pack for the family for the fall bash this year. I think I have my better half on board to make the drive!
Keep in mind I'm a Florida boy and have rarely seen temps below 50 cheezycheese - 7-6-2018 at 04:03 PM
Dress for 3 seasons. Oct in Wildwood can see 60-70 days and 50s at night. Once or twice wind blew so much we needed long johns. hiaguy - 7-6-2018 at 07:26 PM
Hey Scott,
Here are pictures from October 2017: https://flic.kr/s/aHsm6yF6Qs
and October 2016: https://flic.kr/s/aHskMpYvaH
You'll see shorts, jeans, t-shirts, hoodies, and jackets - it's not quite as warm or as humid as Georgia.
A bigger variable is the wind. :wee: There are weeks where we get the opportunity to use our entire quiver (which isn't that big of a deal if you're
rocking a couple of arcs or peaks).aronma - 8-6-2018 at 12:47 PM
Weather can always be tricky. If you're coming from FL, I'd recommend you get a long sleeve under Armour shirt. It doesn't take much space and will
keep you warm if needed. mougl - 8-6-2018 at 03:03 PM
Thanks for the info guys! Looks like if I go, I'll bring my shirt and pants that go under my track suit for motorcycle racing. Jean's, long sleeve
t's, hoodies. Hopefully that will work!hiaguy - 8-6-2018 at 06:48 PM
if?
IF???
(If it'll make a difference, my wife and I can bring extra Canadian hoodies for the two of you warm-blooded southerners. )mougl - 9-6-2018 at 09:20 PM
Yes, IF. I dont want to say for sure and jinx it. So far, it's looking decent for my first WBB :cool2:
