I do believe I can just make out the word "Rally" under all that shrink wrap. Father's Day gift care of Mr. Lynn perhaps?????

cheezycheese - 21-6-2018 at 08:35 AM

Thanks for the well wishes guys. The wait had been driving me crazy.

Ed Cline - 21-6-2018 at 04:54 PM

Too much money. Too much time. And that's a Wisconsin bug. Cheddar I think. The point is a little off to starboard...:P
Probably happened in shipping.

aronma - 22-6-2018 at 01:33 PM

Awesome Cheezy! Best of luck with your new ride!

Chook - 22-6-2018 at 08:39 PM

They are one hell of a nice buggy. Top workmanship and design. Heavy but beautiful. Would love to own one but have to settle for my old Sysmics.
My mates have 5 GT's here in the Eastern States of Australia.

Awfully big boxes for those tiny foot rests. Must be from Amazon, they always over package everything. Unless it's fragile.

Haven't been able to get this thing outside due to the rain. So she sits in my cramped living room. :D

skimtwashington - 29-6-2018 at 10:31 AM

Was it extra for customized foot pegs, or did they throw that in...?

Pretty cool.

Kober must really want to see it, me too.

eric67m - 1-7-2018 at 07:48 AM

Good looking buggy. I am wondering on the lower fork crown, what are the two square inserted pieces for?

[img][/img]

cheezycheese - 1-7-2018 at 08:37 AM

Eric, that is a fork lock. So when mounted on a rack the front wheel stays straight up.

Juan - 1-7-2018 at 11:06 AM

Very nice RapideV, Marc!

eric67m - 1-7-2018 at 12:57 PM

I realize the center bolt is to hold the fork straight. How do the two square features spaced 4-6" apart on the lower fork crown figure into this feature?

cheezycheese - 1-7-2018 at 12:58 PM

Kober - thanks, WW wont be long
Jeff - you need to get back out here
Juan - thanks!! Will be stealing some style ques from your buggy. I asked Martin to make me a Di-bond fender for small fork. Not a fan of the plastic mudguard.

My bad, I misunderstood you. If you look at the pic that is from the front, you will see two supports on the fork from that point to the fork legs. Those squares are where they mount.

How much work needs to be done to the buggy rack now?
You know the original cost of the buggy is just the halfway point of what it's really going to cost. :o
I like the recessed head bolt on the top of the fork. I can see it will be easier to remove and replace bearings.

Not much really. The rests for the axle need new rubber and a clamp installed to secure axle instead of the tie downs I previously used. And a new upright support. If you notice in the pic this one is a little short, and doesn't reach the downtube. It would seat better if I flipped the buggy having the bottom face the rack, but to load it alone would be a chore.
