Friend of mine had a couple of power kites when we were kids and spent many a summers day playing away. Few years ago bought my self a couple of kites
but have both been sat in the garage sadly forgotten about untill recently. Currently have chunk of time of from work, wanting to make the most of the
sunny weather. Tried flying both of the kites the other day but the bridle lines are incorrectly set, and struggling the adjust and find the best set
up, not sure if anyone can help ? searched online for detailed photos or diagrams without joy. emailed a couple of local companies but neither can or
are willing to help as they are land kits.
I have a pansh ace 8.0m and Quadrifoil Q 2000 4m

The pansh is near impossible to get off the ground, and can see a mix between tension and slack lines, also had a passer by point it out to me.
The q2000 gets up off the ground fine, but then spins wildly out of control the moment you do, again can see various tension between the lines.JADH - 29-6-2018 at 06:00 AM

Seems the bridle lines were connected in a random order.
I have the following lines, but unsure on which lines attach to which
4 x 75cm
9 x 100cm
2 x 110cm

Have you checked that your flying lines are of equal length. Sometimes some stretch and that can cause the spinning you speak of.
Stake all lines to one point then hold the other ends equal in your hand compare the slack/belly of each line. They should be the same. JADH - 29-6-2018 at 06:38 AM

There are 19 x 3 rows of power lines and 16 break lines.
Working on basis of attaching the shorter bridles from the outside in.
But I am thrown by the odd number of rows, and as such where to attach the last row.
Also unsure on the grouping of the lines, if to attach them in horizontal groups 1x3,1x4 ect, or if more 2x3,3x3 ect.
Sorry for the various updates, but trying to power through and get her up in the air !!!

I would contract Quadrifoil and see if they can provide a bridle chart. I think they are still in business.
If no one here comes up with a better idea and if you strike out completely with Quadrifoil then you might see if this gives you any insight into how
to set the bridles up, though I am pretty sure this is not the same kite.
As for the Pansh they are in business so you might contact them though I would not hold my breath waiting for an answer.
This might not be the solution you are looking for but someone here has a small Ace (2.5 m) for sale. Check the for sale section. You might buy it
and then see if you can follow the bridle pattern on that kite with yours. 8 M is pretty big to start with anyway, so the small Pansh might be worth
buying. (Another alternative - see if the seller might send you picture of the bridle pattern).
For that matter check and see if anyone has your Q 2000 for sale and might have some documentation with it they could copy and send you.markite - 29-6-2018 at 09:50 AM

Undoing all your bridles was a big mistake IMHO. I only ever work 1 side at a time so the other remains as reference.
Your Ace should have been bridled like an early generation Blade. That is what Pansh copied. The manual shows the groupings but does not specify

The 2000's came out in 1998 99 can't go up wind like a race kite
But it's a. Very forgiven kite doesn't power up in a instant doesn't make
Lift I have 2 full sets 2002 to 2005 I must have 1000's of hours on mine

Undoing your bridles completely was a mistake.
If your kite flew OK then spun it was most likely a simple brake issue on that side.
I only ever work one side at a time. That leaves the other as reference. When you get stuck send it to bugymangp. He will get it flying right and is
making a generous offer.
Did your Ace EVER fly right? Pansh kites have a history. You won't likely get support from them?

Thank you for all the replies.
Regarding the bridles, as I was going through the kite, the secondary bridles are all in different orders and far from a mirror image.
I took it to a local shop, the owner wasnt to sure himself, after much time managed to come to some set up, but ran out of time to fly, aim is to fly
today and see how it goes.
