That is a good looking kite John. I like the dark blue color.

Fast? How's it compare to similar size kites you've flown?
How about a stat like:
2mph wind; 20mph buggy speed.
What kind of numbers have you had with it?

As I said. More to come. I'm not ready to write a review yet. This was my first session. This was the first time this kite has been out of the bag.
She is brand spanking new. The wind was lite. I was very underpowered on this 9m. Winds were 8-10mph tapering off to 4-5mph when I called it for the
day. This was a first date. We were simply feeling each other out. No gps this time. I'm headed out again today. And I'll be at Alvord Saturday
through Friday. I will write a review after that. So for now. Just some kite porn to tease you.

I like the colors too. It's Blue on the bottom skin, Black on the top. The other two are matching colors.

Hi John,
Looks great.
Just a quick word of warning when you go to Alvord.
If the kite is like most other DP foils then it will have plastic batons in the leading edge.
Be very careful if you are reverse launching at any time on a hard surface like that.
I did it at Ivanpah. literally a couple of light drags on the leading edge and the ripstop wore through to the batons.
I thought I would mention it as I was really pissed when it happened to my new Chrono.
Have fun

Alvord is nothing like ivanpah. The surface is much like talcum powder, not the abrasive surface that eats kites and skin.
The powder from the Alvord lake bed is in my opinion like glue on the kites. Much more than ivanpah.
You are a lucky man to fly the Inferno.
If your 16 shows up while your away John, I might have to preflight test it. Don't want it to be lonely.:D
They are good looking.....
You are correct about the leading edge danger, not so much at Alvord. The Inferno has no battens, just air and lines make it fly.

No batons,
That is going to save some repair costs.
Looking forward to see how it compares to some of the other foils on the market.
