So I don't have a FB account, but I lurked heavily while searching for a buggy. One thing I noticed while perusing people's pages, no matter what a
guys life entails, if he is a kiter those will be the bulk of his photos. I don't care what other hobbies, activities, or even family... you will see
those kite photos.

I noticed that too. Go to any "normal" persons FB page and it's just "normal". Go to a kiter or land sailers page and that will be their
profile photo! Tripped me out the first time I noticed it.
