Hey Morrie,
Can you tell me why there are 2 different t-shirt and hoodie options on the registration page?
God forbid I get a hoodie with a zipper:o

Wind_dog - 14-2-2019 at 08:47 PM

OK, I'm in and signed up.
That makes it at least 3 so far from Oregon.

Challenge is on. Step up BC, CA , UT, CO, etc etc

Colin,

the additional shirt options are there so you can buy additional shirts beyond the free shirt with registration. The hoodies are pullovers, not zippered.

jeepersjoey - 20-2-2019 at 07:40 PM

Jeepersjoey is registered and ready to rock!

Anyone need a place to place their stuff secure, I will be bringing my 10x14 big blue tent and staying out on the playa the entire time.

Bring your stuff to my tent and you will have a safe place to store it. And, a place to change clothes or get out of the wind/sun.

Oh yea...and I invite you to camp with me or at least Park next to me and utilize my kite-parking-posts!

See you then!!

Hey guys, due to a death in the family, I will not be able to attend this year. There is a memorial service for my brother-in-law that conflicts with IBX week. I discovered the family was having a difficult time scheduling this service and IBX had this timeframe blocked out. My sacrifice made an easy solution in difficult times for those I care about so I'm taking one for the team. I sincerely hope that things will be normal and dusty for me spring 2020. Buggy on!

Bob, you will be sorely missed! You are part of the bedrock of this event, right up there with the playa surface itself, and it just won't be the same without you. You're priorities are solidly in proper alignment and I'm sorry to learn of the death in your family. My sincere best wishes.

jeepersjoey - 21-2-2019 at 06:09 PM

Sorry to hear of this loss, Bobby.

Glad that you were able to support in this way.

Unfortunate that I won't get to see you. It really is the highlight of the event. I'll have to find someone else to hug.

We've got this. Let me know if there is something that I can do to take up your position at the event.

Thanks guys. JJ you usually don't know what needs doing till it needs doing. More hands ready for that makes it easier and smoother for everyone. I know things will be fine and I sure will miss being there to see everyone.

Sweet! Can't wait to get 'em. What do the words say along the shoulder of the large helmeted dude?

Morrie Williams - 5-3-2019 at 08:16 AM

It says:

No companion to my mood,
With the wind as it should be,
I ride, but in my solitude
Bow to the wind that carries me

When I saw the image last night I was actually wondering based on the large buggy and small rider if it was/ is our favorite buggying DUDETTE?

Ruggedly handsome men think alike. That was precisely what I was thinking too! The lenticular wheels certainly put you in that direction. That Dudette is thrice (at least) the buggyer that I ever will be. Darn glad for that too. :karate:

BeamerBob - 5-3-2019 at 03:45 PM

The large buggy is the larger than life Eli Anderson.
