Hey all,
I'm looking at the 5-6m range now. Considering a profoil if ted still has any stock. any other resonalbly priced decent kites? I don't need a blade,
but a somewhat lifty kite could be nice for some air.

the Pro-foils are great kites. they are the kites i teach kiteboarding with. I've completely Modded the bridles to accept a sheetable 4:1 depower
mixer so the students can experience actual flying with an already incredible kite.
if you get a 5m-7m kite or so i'd be happy to depower it for you.

how well does the depower work? I might really have to consider that.. How does it affect the low-end performance?

low end is same, perhaps less 1 knot. but the top end is really the point. that way you can use a bigger sail to cover more wind range. it in effect
makes 2 kites from 1.
basically any WELL MADE reputable kite can be altered for a sheeting system. a crappy kite will still be crappy no matter what, unless it is
re-engineered and windtunnel optimized, but who wants to go thru all that trouble.... just start with a higher performance kite like the Profoils or
Ozone kites also work extremely well for the depower. Samauri, little devil, etc..
email me or U2U if/when you want to proceed

i sent you a u2u with a couple of questions.
I guess the next questions would be, can you hook up a bar and lines with an order? Just need to find the money for the kite first, and decide on what
exact kite to get.

So i ordered the 5.5 profoil. Probably my last kite until i just to a frenzy or psycho. That'll be a while due to amount of money i need for a really
nice kite.
