got the 5.5 up in about 18mph winds. What a blast.
Did my first intentional/controlled jumps today and i am impressed. The kite would just float me up and then float me down. It was amazing. I'm
hooked. Just need to get better at boarding so i can do the two activities together.
Sorry for the waste of a post, but i am so excited.

I think most of us understand how you want to tell the world about a great day. The great thing is, the feeling lasts for a day or so. If there is no
wind by then you'll start to Jones. Then you'll start to appreciate what those other addicts go through. Don't worry ! More wind will come !

Had some good flying today as well, but the field wasn't wide enough to pull out the real big boys.
We were at a wind festival to help promote the sport and i think we got a couple of people interested. The best question of the day, "What kind of
kite is that?"

Eventually you get hooked enough that you start getting stupid big kites that'll go in anything, Today I was cruising around, underpowered for a
change with the 13m, got home and checked the wind report, I was riding in 2mph gusting to 4mph. I rarely go home dissapointed now days. I know the FS
kites have major lift and float, but I must say, the old yellow bus does quite well for herself. Last time I had it out in 6mph gusting to 8mph I was
having trouble staying on the ground.
