Just getting into the sport folks and need some direction. Purchased two Airush trainer kites, a 2 line and 4 line. Would like to purchase a buggy. Looking at mostly beach buggy action.

Where is a site in the USA where I can purchase a nice buggy w/o spending a fortune!

Hey mchero

I just got into the sport also,, still learning alot. I have two kites now,, both 4 lines. One is a "Pro-Foil" 1.5 meter and the other is a beamer 3meter. Also purchased a "Peter Lynn" Big foot buggy. The buggy cost around $800.00 dollars and some change. I got it from "Coastal Wind Sports Inc. Website is coastalwindsports.com. The owners name is Angus. Tell him Joe from North Wildwood New Jersey refered you. He gave me a fair deal.. the best thing to do is check around for prices but start with him.. The big foot is good for me because the area I will be using is the Wildwood New Jersey beach which is alot of soft sand and hard but mostly soft. The tires on the big foot buggy are huge. ride over anything so they say. good luck.

Thanks for the quick reply Joecat.
I think I'll have to get in a good summer of practice before jumping into a buggy.
I'm in Concord, NH, about an hour drive to the beach. I have a 36 foot diesel pusher so I'll be spending lots of weekends at the beach and in the mountains. I'll keep my eye's peeled on this web site & hopefully run across others on the beaches.

Andrew is the owner of Powerline Sports in Seabrook, NH. He used to distribute through EMS in N. Conway also, I believe.

He is mostly focused on kite surfing and skiing but used to carry Peter Lynn buggies and should be able to get you one still.

There is also Jim from Fun With Wind in Lawrence, MA. He sells all kinds of kites but IIRC he also likes to buggy. He used to have buggy's on his site but I never saw any in the shop. You might want to look him up to (powerlinesports.com and funwithwind.com) if you want to check things out locally.

If not there is Coastal Wind Sports as mentioned and A Wind of Change and Cobra Kites and kite buggy Speed Shop and Corey's (from NV, I believe) whose siite I can't recall the link for at this time.

I'm in Dracut, MA - Manchester and Dracut have been good hubs for kite skiing the past few years as well as N. Conway.

Hi Robert,

I live in Hampton Beach and am riding in either the state park or at Nahant beach with others on the weekends. My son also rides. I live about a mile from powerline sports, and have the bigfoot buggy that Andrew had for sale last year. I have a bunch of extra equipment (Kites and buggies) and can certainly help you as you learn. you can e-mail me at dmidgley@welchfluorocarbon.com.....

Hope to hear from you
