JIBE 2019 Goals

As wind addicts, our primary goal at any event is a given: To have a great time with great friends! I can not speak for anyone else, but I typically have personal goals at every JIBE. Sometimes it is mastering a new skill/trick, sometimes it's a new personal best speed (yeah yeah I know, that's always a goal for me), sometimes it's how many miles can I go without a break, etc. Does anyone have any goals they would like to reach at JIBE this year?

I am very interested to see if you do and if so, what are they?

My goal for JIBE 2019:

To do some Kite buggying

It's been since JIBE 2018 since I have buggied, so I'm really looking forward to it!

Wow, it looks like that several of us have been buggyless for the last 12 months!
It seemed like every time I had wind I had no time and every time I had time there was no wind!

I even started carrying around a couple of foils in both cars and my Jeep.
If that magic time were to happen the wind was always wonkie. Blusters and gusts. Right on the edge of rain with no time to fly before the wetness.

One of my new years resolutions was to lose 25 lbs. and get more air time. So far I've lost 11 lbs. Air time 10 minutes. Still got 7 months to get that elusive air time.

Let's all make more time to fly a kite with or without our buggys the rest of the year.

JIBE is a great time to get air and seat time. Let's have fun!
