Flysurfer Infinity 2.0 Safety line

Safety (flag out) line snapped. Anyone have a new one for sale? Must have gotten caught on the bar or something because I didnt flag out the kite, just all of a sudden snapped. Thanks.

If you need to make one, it's just a shorter line loop to looped to a loop set in your flying line (make it a bit longer so there's a bit of slack - there's no tension on it, so it shrinks over time).

Not sure why I didn't think of that! thanks, I'll give it a try. Only difference I can think of is the bungee and knot but I have a stopper ball laying around so the line will just sag a bit more than usual.

"bungy"
You mean the mini-5th line? Pretty sure it's just regular front line er line. All of mine I ended up cutting and splicing in a new line for the bottom meter or so.

Otherwise, contact Flysurfer for an OEM part, or powerzonekitesports for a custom at a good price

lol - I was wondering why that extra spliced line was there! Did you add those because they wore? I thought that might be a good idea to splice a slightly heavier line. (I have a couple of Kami's old bars)

And Kamikuza is right - no stopper ball or bungee. Just 1 line with a loop on each end that goes from QR to the loop spliced into a flying line. The FS hole through the quick release is tiny, so just make sure whatever you go with (preferably 1 single line) moves cleanly through there, no extra knots or large splices if you can help it. Bungee would be too thick to move through there.

Just to add to this... I'm actually doing a Q power line build right now - I noticed you use that elnica ... so that poses some extra considerations. Someone on kite forum suggested an figure 8 bend to attach the FLS (since you can't splice Q-power). I will give that a go unless someone has some other idea/experience.

Yeh they were wearing thin or shrinking too much and I had spare line. Which was cheaper than getting a new one :D

I think the later bars had a bungy, but it was right at top, behind the stopper knot.
